Hey everyone, I've been working very hard to bring you another update on my hack, SM64 The Green Stars. So what's this I have shown you today?? No pictures, but a YouTube video. It basically shows my latest HUB level (the other one sucked), and my remake of the level, Whomp's Forest. This new forest is much more foresty, and will definetely have a forest theme, I'm thinking the theme will be Fungi Forest from DK64. Well, Idon't have too much to say, just watch the video, and you'll be thrilled (hopefully).
I also showed other music I've insterted. since losing my hack the other day, I've recreated the HUB and Whomp's Forest. I've brought back Cloudy Platforms (you may see a pipe in the HUB in the vid I left to show, that goes to Cloudy Platforms). I've also brought back my good ol' Lethal Lava Land remake, except, I haven't called it that. I made a better name, Melty Magma Land. Anyway, I have been busy, and it's finally the weekend, which means I should get alot done.

SM64GS Update
Ok, so I have still been working on it. Everything's been going well, until I put in some custom music, whcih completely stuffed up the ROM. I had back-ups, but I usually overwrite them once I've done some important stuff that needs saving. Looks like I didn't test it completely, and now, I'm hoping some advice will help me out :/
Some levels I've been woring on... well... I'm not showing them to you. You can find out what they look like when you download the hack. However, I'll tell you the names.
Wing Cap Course (I forgot what I called it)
Gusty Garden
The Desert Maze
They sound awesome don't they??? The secret courses I make, will mainly be hidden in the HUB level, however 1-2 will be hidden in the 6th act of some courses.
That's pretty much it.

SM64 Hack Update 3
Ok, I've been working pretty darn hard on this for about 5 weeks or so. I started a while ago. Anyway, since the last update I've banged out yet another couple of failure levels, and one decent level. I've had a change in plans. Instead of 5 regular levels, I'm making 6. And instead of a total of 40 stars, there'll be a total of 50, which'll be a better number. I'm also waiting for people with knowledge to reply to some of my comments on youtube asking for help on how mto fix textures, and custom music and stuff... not one reply yet. Anyway, time for the pictures.

So I've managed to make approximately 4 levels since after update 1, not after the youtube video. Ok, so in pistures 1 and 2 is what I call, HUB Part 2. I was running out of room to add levels, so I added part 2, which is basically an extension with extra levels.
Pictures 3 and 4 are Lethal Lava Land (I couldn't think of any other name). It's much harder than Nintendo's version. There is a secret in Lethal Lava Land...
In picture 5 is a level I made today, called Rainbow Road. It has a road, mst it's not rainbow because the textures stuff up like usual T.T
Rainbow Road is kinda a boring place, so the 6th picture is just showing a power-up in my hack. I couldn't levae out the Wing Cap, it just had to come back. In fact, it's only so recent that I've added it, I don't know what level will use the Power-Up (except for HUB 2). Oh well. I've also recreated Rocky Mountain (because the other version sucked) and I made the Bowser course, which I'm purposely not showing. You'll have to find out what it looks like yourself!! That's it then. Cya around!!

SM64 Hack Update 2
I think I've done a good job, and I've very proud of myself in this hack. But only a few things have let me down, which really sucks, or otherwise this would be a 10/10 hack. Some things just aren't correct, loike adding different music to the hack, and having CORRECT textures. So, that's why I'll be holding off before releasing it. So insted, I'm going to give you a sneak peek of my video I've made for YouTube. Of course, at the end it says, download now. But it's not ready for download. Well, I shall stop blabbing away and show you the video already.
So what do you think?? Pretty good eh!! I have purposely not shown some secret scenesw, because I don't want everything spoilt. However, I have shown you the 5 normal courses. I'll list the scenes here.
1: Cloudy Platforms
2: HUB Level
3: Sky Galaxy (Note: It isn't really a Galaxy, just sounds cool).
4: Rocky Mountainside (Note: The previous version of this level was deleted, i didn't like it so much. So I remade a new level, and it's 50 times better).
5: Lethal Lava Land (Note: Don't think I just chucked in Nintendo's Level. I remade it to a harder standard).
6: Whomp's Fortress
That's all the levels. I have skipped the Secret levels. I have also skipped... umm... nevermind.

SM64 Hack Update
Alright, I've made some new courses, and finished the HUB level. I'll show you some pictures soon, but not yet. I've been working on this for ages, I even spend hors just trying to make one level, then sometimes, I stuff up the level, and have to recreate a whole new one. That's happened numerous amounts of times. Also, putting in textures is hard, because I put the exact texture I want (eg. Grass) andit ends up a completely different thing, so sorry guys, I can't fix the textures, unless TT64 Version 0.6 comes out, which I don't think will come out before I release the hack.

The first 2 pictures are the HUB level. Yes, it is very dark, but the textures stuffed up, just like I said before. In the first picture, you can see Mario's house quite well, and in the corner, you can see his pool/dam. You can see a couple of warp pipes in picture 2, and one in picture 1.
Also, in my HUB, I've put in Warp Pipes to go to the levels I've made, and all the warps work eg. Getting a star, you come out, or when you die, you come out of the level. When the warps aren't correct, the game freezes. I had alot of trouble with these, till this morning. I was mucking around with the warps and I tested it randomly, and what do you know, it worked. So now I have knowledge on how to make correct warping systems.
Anyway, now for the pictures, because I've explained about my hack before... you know the drill, it's in ascending order, with 1 first on the list, and then #2, then 3, then 4... etc.

In picture 3 you can see part of the course I made called Rocky Mountainside. That course was only made recently, and has a couple of stuffed up warps in it, but at least you can access the level. In picture 4 is just one of the stars, and that's where you appear once you collect a star/die in a course.
In pictures 5 and 6 are another course I made called Sky Galaxy. It's not really a galaxy, but oh well, it sounds pretty cool. In picture 5, you can see many boxes, they all rotate (like in tick tock clock). And you have to use those boxes to get a star which is on the platform Mario was standing on when I took the photo/screenshot. In picture 6 you can see a lake, that's where you collect all the Red Coins, and you go there to get to picture 5 pretty much.
Anyway, that's all I'vce done since the last update. BYE BYE!! :3
Oh, and can you leave a comment just so I know you've come to the site, I've made a setting where anyone can comment, so you just click comments, then anonymous, type your comment, and send it. Or if you have an account, you don't have to do that. Anyway, off I go to make more levels/courses!!

My SM64 Hack
This is pretty much my secret. I do not want this spread on Hatena, but anywhere else is fine with me! So, you might be thinkig, what is Luigi* up to?? Well, I'm creating something that'll be fun and challening, a SM64 Hack!! This is one reason why I haven't been on Hatena that much lately. Anyway, you might want to know more about my hack.

Ok, the pictures make my hack look awesome, right?? Well, i't's gonna be awesome in the end, but it's only a 5th or a 6th finished. I still got a lot of work to do on it. As you can see, it's still in the making, don't expect this to be out anytime soon, maybe in a couple of months...
Well, my Hack will be called, Super Mario 64 The Green Stars. Why that though?? I don't know... maybe because the stars are green!! Whate else?? My hack will have 100% custom levels/courses. There'll be 5 regular courses, a hub, 2 Bowser battles, 1 bowser course, and 2-3 secret levels. There'll be a total of 40 stars i the game. I tried putting all the stars in challenging places, but that's not always possible. Anyway, now for the pictures...
The pictures can be found below this text. They have small numbers on them, to make it easier to know which one I'm talking about.

Anyway, in pictures 1 and 2, are a level I created 2 days ago, called Cloudy Platforms. I couldn't think of any other name... Cloudy Platforms is a big level in the sky. There's many platforms and walkways, but if you fall, you die... then you come out of the painting (which you should know by now). When I finish the hack, you won't come out or in of the painting, but you'll be going through warp pipes and stuff. In picture 2, you can see the starting platform. There's boxes around it, and picture 1 shows a good look at a star, which is reasonably hard to get (I die heaps trying to get it).
Pictures 3 and 4 are the first level I ever made, Whomp's Forest. The name says it all, Whomp king returns, in a foresty level. Some of these stars may be hard to find. And getting the 6th star (Wicked Jumping) is the hardest of them all. I do struggle to get it, but none of the stars are impossible to get, ok!! I've gotten them all.
Pictures 5 ad 6 is my latest level, the 3DS. It's a secret level, unlike Cloudy Platforms and Whomp's Forest. There's red coins scattered over the 3DS. However, the the level importer (by frauber) changes the levelk heaps, it flips it, it changes the colour to the opposite you made it. I would've made it Aqua blue, but it turned out brown instead. I'll definetely change the colours, so it won't be opposite when the hack is downloadable.
If you have any ideas for any levels, please let me know, I may even put you in the credits!!
Well, that's all for now, I'll make updates every now and then.
